Joy of Zentangle Art Therapy

zentangleOn August 16, 1:00-7:00 pm, in the West Annex, Harmon Room come learn how to turn your calming doodles into amazing works of art. Zentangle is a doodle explosion of all your doodles to create stunning tangle art pieces. Bring in a sketch pad and learn basics of Zentangle and you will be amazed how your creative drawing will induce a relaxed, calm feeling inside of you.

Adult Coloring Day

Come and join us to celebrate “National Coloring Book Day”. It’s not just for kids anymore! Adult Coloring is the new trend! Come experience the power of coloring to distract you from daily stress and electronic overload. The Main Library in Bryan is inviting all adults colorist, starting August 2nd, every first Tuesday afternoon of the month at 1:00-7:00pm to color and melt away all your worries and find solace for a few hours. We will supply many stunning, exuberant illustrations to choose from out of our collection.

New Mystery Book Club Forming

Do you love a mystery?  Do you wish to gather together with others who share your passion for this exciting literary genre?  A new mystery book club discussion group, sponsored by the Williams County Public Library and led by Pam Lash, is meeting on Thursday, August 11 at 7:00 pm, in Bryan at the Harmon Room in the Local History Center.   We will be coordinating some basic procedures, determining a group name, and distributing the September book selection for reading and sharing our thoughts.

Pinterest Party: Ladder Yarn Scarves

Join us on June 30 in the Harmon Room of the Local History Center at 1:00 pm and learn how to make a fashion scarf from nifty yarns.  Participants should bring along a #9 crochet hook if they have one and any additional yarn they would like to use.  For more information contact Nancy Bryce at 419-636-6734 ext 283.
