Hacksaw Ridge Movie Showing & Book Giveaway

Adults are invited to view the popular movie Hacksaw Ridge at the Local History Center on Friday, November 10 in the Harmon Room at 5:30 pm.  Hacksaw Ridge is the extraordinary true story of Desmond Doss who, in Okinawa during the bloodiest battle of WWII, saved 75 men without firing or carrying a gun.

Emily's Story - Mystery & Mayhem Week

The Local History Center will end our Week of Mystery & Mayhem on October 31 at 6:00 p.m. with a showing of EMILY’S STORY, the acclaimed film recounting the shocking library murder of Miss Abernathy. Tragedy at the Library - Mystery & Mayhem Week

Join us in the Local History Center on Monday Oct 30, 6:30 pm. for another event in our Week of Mystery & Mayhem.  WCPL Library Director Jeff Yahraus will present the tragic story of Emily Abernathy, the librarian murdered in the Carnegie Building in 1946.  The WCPL Local History Center is located at 107 East High Street, Bryan, OH 43506.
