Upcoming Book Club Meetings

If you love to read and discuss books, you are invited to come participate and be a part of the many book clubs offered by Williams County Public Library. All WCPL branches host monthly meetings for their clubs. The upcoming meeting schedule is as follows:

MAY 2024 MEETINGS

Wednesdays, May 1st, 15th, & 29th at 4:30 PM: The Bryan Main Library book club for adults with disabilities, "We Be Book'N" will meet. Read a Hi-Lo short story, or have a story read to you by library staff.

Thursday, May 2nd at 2:00 PM: The Bryan Main Library murder mystery book club, "Murder by the Book" will meet to discuss Zero Days by Ruth Ware.

Monday, May 6th at 5:00 PM: The Pioneer Branch Library Silent Book Club will discuss books read recently for a short period of time. Then spend the rest of the hour reading! 

Monday, May 6th at 6:00 PM: The Pioneer Branch Library Happy Bookers Book Club will meet to talk about Happy Place by Emily Henry. 

Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00 PM: The Bryan Main Library, B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Book) Club will meet at Jackie Blu's Restaurant to discuss books with "Garden" in the title. Register to attend. Sign up at: https://mywcpl.libcal.com/event/12088403

Monday, May 14th at 6:00 PM: The Stryker Branch Library teen and young adult book club, Y.A.B will be sharing thoughts on YA books read recently.

Wednesday, May 15th at 6:00 PM: The Edon Branch Library club, Page Turners, will talk on Killing the Witches-The Horror of Salem, Massachusetts by Bill O'Reilly & Martin Dugard.

Thursday, May 16th at 2:00 PM: Novel Ideas, at Bryan Main Library, will go over The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd.

Monday, May 20th at 6:00 PM: The Stryker Branch Library’s OverReaders Anonymous adult book club, will meet to talk about Coal River by Ellen Marie Wiseman.

Monday, May 20th at 5:00 PM: The Edgerton Branch Library adult book club, Open Horizons, will talk on None of This is True by Lisa Jewell.

Tuesday, May 21st at 2:00 PM: The West Unity Branch Library book club, All Booked Up, will be talking about The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller.

Wednesday, May 22nd at 3:00 PM: The Edgerton Branch Library murder mystery book club, Cup of Crime, will meet at the Cup of Joy Coffee Barn to talk about Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto. Register to attend. Sign up at: https://mywcpl.libcal.com/event/11562074

Thursday, May 23rd at 6:00 PM: The Edon Branch Library murder mystery book club, "Murder in the Library" will meet to discuss Murder List by Julie Garwood.
