Board Policy:
The Williams County Public Library shall observe the following holidays.
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Day (Staff In-Service work day)
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veteran’s Day (Staff In-Service work day)
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve Day
- Christmas Day
Administrative Procedure:
If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day will be considered the official holiday.
On the day before Thanksgiving libraries will close at 5:00 p.m. or their regular closing hour if it is prior to 5:00 p.m.
On New Year’s Eve libraries will close at 5:00 p.m. or their regular closing hour if it is prior to 5:00 p.m.
