How to I get a library card?
Just stop in to your local Williams County Public Library branch in Bryan, Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Stryker or West Unity and fill out a library card application. We do require that you show photo identification with valid address and a billing statement so that we can verify your address. Can someone else check my books out for me?
The Williams County Public Library endorses the recommendation of the American Library Association according to Ohio Law, in its statement on the confidentiality of library records.  Following that recommendation patrons must supply their library card when checking out materials.  If picking up requested materials that are on hold, the person who's card was used to place the holds must pick up the materials.  If there are special circumstances the library must be informed.  Our only goals are to protect the privacy of our patrons and to shield the library from theft of materials.
