Author Anne Charles Visits

Mystery author Ann Charles will be making a visit to the West Unity Branch Library on Monday,  July 13th at 1:00 pm and will then be at the Stryker Branch Library on Tuesday, July 14th from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. Ann will be having an informational talk and book signing at both library branches. Her books will be available to purchase.

Ann Charles is an award-winning author who writes mysteries that are splashed with romance and humor. Her book Nearly Departed in Deadwood won the 2010 Daphne du Maurier for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense Award and the 2011 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart Award for Best Novel With Strong Romantic Elements.

Currently, she has several fiction books available: Nearly Departed in Deadwood (multiple award-winning book for both mystery and romance/mystery), Optical Delusions in Deadwood (selected as one of Suspense Magazine's BEST OF 2012 books), Better Off Dead in Deadwood, and An Ex to Grind in Deadwood, which are all part of her ongoing Deadwood Mystery Series.

Meet Local Author Linda Ridley

Meet local author Linda Ridley on Tuesday, June 23rd from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Stryker Branch Library. Linda will be promoting her historical novel, The Journey of Lucinda Jane: A Rescued Doll Story.  This touching tale follows a beautiful hand-finished doll who cannot wait to find a little girl to love as she embarks on a 140-year journey from beloved plaything, to damaged toy, to her exciting rescue.
 
Linda Ridley will be holding a book signing along with selling copies of her novel. Snacks and refreshments will be served. Don Allison Book Signing & Talk

Local journalist Don Allison will present an informal talk and signing for his latest publishing venture, "The Best of On My Mind," at the Stryker Branch Library on Monday, April 27.
 
Don will be available to sign books from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m. he will give an informal talk about his background and the process of writing his weekly "On My Mind" column in The Bryan Times.

Spring Break Movie in Stryker

Follow the adventures of an inflatable robot and his band of friends who form a high-tech team of super heroes in Big Hero 6 on Kids movie day, Wednesday April 1.
