Come meet Melanie Boulis, author and Library Assistant at the Bryan Library, who will be talking about her book Between Heaven and Healing. She will also have her book for sale and will be signing copies.
Between Heaven and Healing shares the inspirational story of a young girl’s journey through terminal cancer and her parents’ eventual realization that faith is not knowing why, but still believing in His goodness and eternal life where all will be made right, where cancer is nonexistent, and where there will be no more tears.
Kylee Matthews who gives instructional music lessons and is a part-time library assistant at the Pioneer Branch Library will be providing a free keyboard concert of classical and contemporary music on Wednesday, February 13, at 1:00 pm. at the Pioneer Branch Library. Since that will be Valentine’s week, she is certain to add a few love songs, as well.

Pioneer Library would like to invite everyone to a retirement party open house in honor of Theresa Slagle, Library Assistant, on Monday, January 28 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the library. Please come and share in our warm wishes for Theresa as she closes one chapter of her life and opens the next one. Everyone is invited to stop in to say farewell and good luck to Theresa. She is retiring after nearly 25 years of service to the library. The Open House is sponsored by the Friends of the Pioneer Branch Library.
