Bryan - Main Library
There’s a “Nightmare on High Street” and the Bryan Library is daring you to face your greatest fears by taking part in this year’s Haunted Library event, held on October 25th and November 1st, from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Filled with scream inducing twists and turns, the Haunted Library promises to be bigger and scarier than ever before!
This year, a special “Kiddie Show” will also be offered on Saturday, October 25th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The program is a non-scary version of the Haunted Library geared specifically towards young children. Fun games and snacks will be available!
All programs are free to the public, however free-will donations are appreciated. There will be snacks and refreshments provided for participants. The Bryan Library is located at 107 E. High Street. For more information, contact Devin Wagner at 419-636-6734 ext. 270.
Meet local author Greg Smith on Tuesday, September 30th from 6:00-7:00 pm at Bookends Used Bookstore inside the Bryan Library. Mr. Smith is a writer of suspense novels, who currently has two titles published Holy Lotto and Wrong Left Turn. Greg has also just finished the book 3 Times the Sparrow, which will be available to purchase in late 2014. Mr.
- Both teams and individuals are allowed to participate.
- Riders must be 18 or older to ride the entire 75 miles.
On Friday, August 15th, the popular children’s movie Frozen will be shown at 8:30 pm, outside the Bryan Main Library, on the parking lot side of the building. The whole family is invited to watch the movie, as well as enjoy a relaxing evening outdoors. You will need to bring your own lawn chairs or sleeping bags. Frozen is rated PG.
