Dakota Dave Hull at Bryan Library

Williams County Public Library is pleased to announce that Dakota Dave Hull, ragtime guitarist, will once again be performing as part of the “Carnegie Concert Series” on Saturday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm.  The concert will be held under the Carnegie dome on the second floor of the Main Library in Bryan.

Gallery Opening Reception for Young Artist Exhibit at Bryan

A Young Artist Exhibit will be on display at the Children’s Department of the Bryan Library from March 17th through March 21st in celebration of National Youth Art Month. The exhibition presents selected artworks in various media from some of the most talented up-and-coming young local artists. 
On March 17th the library will host a Gallery Opening Reception, free to the public, which will begin at 6:30 pm.  Everyone is invited! Be among the first to view the Young Artist Exhibit, enjoy refreshments, and listen to live music, provided by the Bryan High School’s string quartet. It will be an evening to remember.

Meet Author James Hamilton

On Monday, February 24th author James Hamilton will be holding a book signing at the Bryan Library from 6:30-7:30 pm in Bookends Used Bookstore to promote his work, A Short Treatise on a Common Sense Framework for Health Care Reform, which is a concise book of principles that provides a guide that would revolutionize the health care system. Copies of the book will be for sale during the program along with free snacks and refreshments.

Meet Author Walter E. Grunden in Bryan

Bookends Used Bookstore is proud to be hosting another local author.  Dr. Walter E. Grunden, Bowling Green State University professor and Bryan, OH native, will be visiting the Bookends (located in the Bryan Main Library) to promote his latest work, Bryan, on February 4th at 6:00 p.m.  The book explores the history of the "Fountain City" and contains multiple images of the town compiled from photographs at the Williams County Public Library's Local History Center.  There will be a book signing along with snacks and refreshments.  Signed copies of Bryan will be available to purchase for $20.00 or 2 for $35.00.  Dr. Grunden will also be happy to sign previously purchased copies of his book.  For more information contact Kylee Matthews at 419-636-6734 ext. 274.

Meet Author Nathan Crook
