Maze Runner Challenge

Find your way to the Bryan Main Library for the Maze Runner Challenge, on Saturday, September 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. This is a teen program, for ages to 10 to 15 years old. Participants will compete in a live maze to see who the best maze runner is! Challenge winners will receive two movie passes to the Bryan Theater to see Maze Runner: Scorch Trials, being released Friday, September 18!
 Please call the library adult desk at 419-636-6734 ext. 221 to reserve your spot in the challenge! Parental arrangements should be made prior to the event, as the library will be closed during time of program, and all phones will be turned off. Super Hero Training Night

Previously set for July 28th, Super Hero Training Night at the Bryan Main Library, has been rescheduled for Monday, September 14th from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. Many heroes, such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, Supergirl, Batman, Superman, and more will be visiting the Children’s Department. Kids are encouraged to come wearing their favorite super hero costume. There will be games, crafts and snacks. Please register by Wednesday, September 9th.

English Tea and Tales

You are cordially invited to attend a traditional English tea experience along with a discussion of the classic novel, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen at the Bryan Main Library on Saturday, September 5th at 11:00 am. Light snacks will be served along with the tea. Door prizes will also be given out. Come for the tea, come for the discussion, or come for both. It’s sure to be a smashing time!

Friends of the Bryan Library Annual Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Bryan Library are once again holding the annual used book sale on the second floor of the Bryan Main Library. It will take place August 4-6 during regular library hours. With a wide variety of genres available, there promises to be something for everyone. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to purchase well known books at an affordable price.

Community Heroes Day

Come meet your community heroes at the Bryan Main Library on Thursday, June 11th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Many local organizations will be attending, including Fountain City Vets, Cancer Assistance of Williams County, Sarah's House, Habitat for Humanity, Williams County Emergency Management Agencies, Williams County YMCA, Humane Society, DARE, Path Academy, GAB, Bryan Area Foundation, and United Way. There will be other special guests such as members of the Police and Fire Departments, doctors, and service dogs. This is a great opportunity to get to know the heroes in your neighborhood!
