Santa Visits Bryan

Santa Claus will be bringing holiday cheer to the Children’s Department of the Bryan Main Library on Thursday, December 11th from 6:30 to 7:15 pm.
 
You’re invited to come and get your picture taken with jolly old Saint Nick.  Each family will receive a number when they arrive to avoid long lines. Children can play games and do various activities while they wait for their chance to meet Santa. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Cameras are welcome. So stop in and enjoy an evening filled with the Christmas spirit.

Teen Night Hunger Games Challenge

Volunteer as tribute at the Bryan Main Library’s Hunger Games Arena Challenge! This teen night program, for ages 10 to 15, will be held on Thursday, November 20th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
 
Teens must battle in the arena in physical and intellectual challenges to gain points and survive! Come join the other tributes from your district and compete for points. Challenges include Archery, Hunger Games Trivia, and a Cornucopia Challenge. The team with the most points at the end of the night will receive movie passes good to see The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, which debuts Friday, November 21st at the Bryan Theater! May the odds be ever in your favor.

Carnegie Concerts -- Kerry Patrick Clark

Bryan High School’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

On Wednesday, November 12th the Bryan High School will perform scenes from their upcoming fall play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Bryan Library. The program will take place in the Carnegie Room of the Main Library from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. 

 If you would like a sneak peek at the outstanding production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Bryan High School students, then make sure you stop in at the library and catch their performance. Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits

Learn what evidence of paranormal activity the group O.R.B.S. has uncovered at the Bryan Library.  The group recently investigated the library and created a film of the supernatural footage.  Come watch the film, and see for yourself if the library is indeed "haunted"

Haunted Library - Kiddie Show

Haunted LibraryThere’s a “Nightmare on High Street” and the Bryan Library is daring you to face your greatest fears by taking part in this year’s Haunted Library event, held on October 25th and November 1st, from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Filled with scream inducing twists and turns, the Haunted Library promises to be bigger and scarier than ever before!

This year, a special “Kiddie Show” will also be offered on Saturday, October 25th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The program is a non-scary version of the Haunted Library geared specifically towards young children. Fun games and snacks will be available!

All programs are free to the public, however free-will donations are appreciated. There will be snacks and refreshments provided for participants. The Bryan Library is located at 107 E. High Street. For more information, contact Devin Wagner at 419-636-6734 ext. 270.
